Susan B. Kaiser is Professor at the University of California, Davis, in the Departments of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies, as well as Design. She is also active in the campus Textiles and Cultural Studies Graduate Groups. She is currently Editor of the journal Critical Studies in Fashion & Beauty. Published works include the books The Social Psychology of Fashion and Fashion and Cultural Studies, as well as approximately 100 articles and chapters in a range of fields. Her research focuses on the interface between fashion and feminist cultural studies, with a current interest in issues of time, place, and subjectivity.
